The cabins offer you a warm ‘cwtch’ in the tranquil Welsh hills: comfort and nature in perfect balance
Hafan (‘Haven’) and Derwen (‘Oak’) cabins were lovingly designed and built by Adam, Lou and friends, using local and upcycled materials as much as possible (check out those washing machine windows in the compost loos..).
Inside they have a double mezzanine bed, a seating area which converts to a sofa bed for kids, a wood-burner, table and chairs, sink and hob, plus solar-powered lighting and USB sockets.
Both cabins feature a living roof, sheltered deck, your own fire pit, BBQ and a private composting loo.
Each cabin sits in its own species rich wildflower meadow, surrounded by trees and the sounds of birdsong, hooting owls and other wildlife. If you’re lucky you may well wake up to the sight of deer grazing in the morning.
A short walk from the cabins is Ty Mawr the communal building where you’ll find your own private bathroom with rainfall shower and composting loo. Cook and relax in the main room, on the sun deck or by the fire pit.
