Derwen cabin

The cabins offer you a warm ‘cwtch’ in the tranquil Welsh hills: comfort and nature in perfect balance

Hafan (‘Haven’) and Derwen (‘Oak’) cabins are very similar except Hafan faces west and Derwen faces east.

Both were lovingly designed and built by Adam, Lou and friends, just a short hop from the farmhouse, using local and upcycled materials as much as possible (check out those washing machine windows in the compost loos..).

Inside they have a double platform bed, a seating area which converts to a sofa bed for kids, a wood-burner, dinky table and chairs, sink and hob, plus solar-powered led lights and USB sockets.

Externally they feature a green roof, a sheltered deck and a nearby compost loo.

Both have their own firepit and bbq area in separate native wildflower meadows surrounded by trees and the sounds of birdsong, hooting owls and other wildlife.
