Light and airy, the barn has been lovingly converted to very high design and eco standards. Like the cabins, it has a partial green roof and has wool insulation and lime plastered walls.
Originally a hay barn, this is now a wonderful, homely space with level access downstairs. The main room has a double-height vaulted ceiling with skylights.
The woodburning stove is a central feature, sat in a gorgeous stone fireplace and the tasteful furniture is a blend of mid-century and antique.
The kitchen is well equipped including induction hob, fridge-freezer, microwave, washer/dryer and DAB radio.
The bedroom also has a woodburning stove as well as a handmade bed (by Adam), cosy welsh blankets and a hot water bottle for your toes. The second mezzanine bedroom accessed from the kitchen area has twin beds and is similarly tasteful and cosy.
Downstairs there is a modern wetroom and last but not least, there is a west-facing private garden overlooking the local hillside (The ‘Fan’) which is a relaxing wildlife haven. Please note there is a pond not far away so children must be supervised.
The barn has all sorts of entertainment to hand; television, DVD player, musical instruments, games and books. Wifi is also available so you can plan all your adventures or contact restaurants and pubs to find out about availability and opening arrangements.
